Backflow testing & repair
Annual testing is our specialty. From certification and paperwork submitted straight to the city, to repairs and new installations, we handle backflow prevention start to finish for homes and businesses across Tucson.
What a backflow assembly actually does
A backflow prevention assembly keeps used or contaminated water from being siphoned back into the drinking supply when pressure drops. That's why the city requires an annual test — and why it has to be done right. Try it:
Under normal pressure, clean water flows through the open check valve to your property.
The backflow company Tucson actually trusts
We specialize in one thing and do it well. Here's what sets us apart from the plumbers and multi-service outfits who treat backflow as an afterthought.
We strive to answer every call during business hours — you'll be speaking with our front office manager right away. It's shocking how many local service companies don't pick up. Give us a call and find out.
We're a veteran-owned backflow business owned and operated in Tucson, AZ. Owner Dave is a US Air Force veteran and retired law-enforcement officer. We proudly support our nation's military and first responders.
Plenty of companies farm backflow work out to subcontractors because they don't specialize in it. We don't. We hire local backflow testers as our own employees — the only person we'll ever send to your property is one of our trusted team.
Our testers are certified by All American Backflow Prevention and keep their certification current through continued education. We carry all necessary insurance and hold a business license with the City of Tucson.

Backflow, answered
What is backflow?
Backflow is the undesired reversal of water flow against its normal direction, which can cause contaminants to enter the drinking water supply. Backflow prevention devices — or assemblies — protect potable drinking water from contaminants and pollutants. There are two causes of backflow: back-pressure and back-siphonage.
Why does my home have a backflow prevention assembly?
Because it's currently receiving non-potable water from another source — for example, an irrigation system or untreated well water. Homes and buildings with more than one water source are required to keep that water separated from the drinking supply.
Where are backflow assemblies found?
Backflow assemblies are typically found in commercial and industrial buildings, buildings three stories or taller, multi-family residences, and homes with more than one source of water (such as untreated well water). These assemblies require annual testing to keep the community water system protected.
Who is responsible for testing backflow assemblies?
The property owner is responsible for having their backflow assembly tested annually by a certified tester. If you've received a notice from the city that your test is due, that's your cue to schedule — give us a call and we'll handle it.
