All-Weather Backflow Protection

Protect your backflow before the first freeze

Arizona weather is hard on outdoor plumbing. Summer heat and UV cook the brass and PVC all year, then one overnight freeze cracks an assembly that's been sitting exposed. A failed assembly means a failed test, a repair bill, and a scramble with the water company. Five levels of protection — pick what fits your property and your budget, and we handle the installation and the paperwork.

Why it matters

One cold night can cost you a whole assembly

Freezes hit without warning

Tucson sees a handful of nights below 32 °F most winters, usually with a day's notice at best. An assembly with water sitting in it can split a check-valve body overnight.

Sun does damage all year

Exposed brass and PVC bake in full sun — surface temps run 30 °F or more above air temperature, which cooks seals and makes PVC brittle.

A split assembly is a failed test

Freeze damage almost always shows up as a failed annual test — then you're paying for a repair or replacement on top of the re-test, on the city's schedule, not yours.

Five levels of protection

Pick what fits your property and budget

Every option is installed by one of our own certified technicians and documented with your account. Not sure which one? Option 3, the insulated bag, is the one we recommend for most Tucson homes — or call and we'll tell you what your assembly needs.

Our service terms

Existing conditions

Backflow assemblies, unions, shut-off valves, and surrounding piping wear with age. We are not responsible for leaks or failures in existing components that occur during or after normal testing, repair, or installation work.

Repairs on approval only

If your assembly fails its test, we clean and re-test it first. Any repair or replacement is quoted in writing and performed only with your approval; a 50% deposit on the estimate is due before a repair is scheduled. Re-testing after a repair we performed is included, and our workmanship is warranted for one year on the specific repair.

Our work, guaranteed

We stand behind the parts we supply and the workmanship we perform. If something we installed or repaired fails because of our work, we'll make it right.

Scheduling & payment

Our office confirms every appointment by phone, text, or email — nothing is booked automatically online. Payment is due at time of scheduling, and repairs require a deposit prior to scheduling. Partnership accounts: contact our office for your account's terms.
